Bring Music! Alleluia!
Beyond Words…

Dear Friends:
I am SO excited about our plans for the Texas Conference Choir Clinic, June 11-15th at
the newly renovated Lakeview Methodist Conference Center near Palestine, TX. I am once
again thrilled with the line-up of superb clinicians we have this year.
We are thrilled to have Ken Medema with us to present a concert and lead our
worship and special classes. Ken’s concert Monday night will be open to the public.
Ken will be joined in worship Wednesday and Thursday by
John Thornburg, who will be leading sessions for our Clergy Focus Day.
Our worship will once again be superb this year!
Campers of all ages will experience a great variety of quality camp activities especially
designed for them, beginning with campers 5 years old and up through adults. This
multi-generational camp offers a unique setting to experience the joy of music and
worship, mixed with lots of fun, including experiences with choir, handbells, dance,
creative worship, music reading sessions and various instruments. There will be classes
in guitar and organ, Orff for Elementary, paper arts, altar design, photography, contemporary
worship, Audio/Visuals, Bible Study, an all-camp Variety Show and many more!
Back Again this year by popular demand:
Clergy Focus Day! - Clergy are welcome to join us for the entire week, but are
especially encouraged to join us on Thursday for classes designed especially with
Clergy in mind. Receive a .5 CEU credit.
All State Choir Workshops –The “Road to All State” Classes are for High School
students with emphasis on preparing for the All State Choir auditions.
This camp has been one of the “best kept secrets” in Texas. Let’s share the secret with lots of folks this year who will experience wonderful fellowship, inspiring worship and classes, spiritual growth, lots of opportunities to make beautiful music,...and fun! Mark your calendars for June 11-15, check out the details, the clinicians and the website, and start making your plans to attend! I’d just LOVE to see you there!!
Blessings,

Lahonda Sharp, Dean of TCCC
